The best benefit of the 30–40-minute drive to the museum from our home is that it provides an opportunity for my son to take a nap. Even a 30-minute nap has benefits for growing minds.
Scientists at the University of Arizona and UC Berkley have found that children and people who nap after learning something new have an 80% chance of memorizing the material taught compared to toddlers who don’t sleep.
Naps have many benefits, including anxiety reduction, immunity booster, and memory enhancement. When given the opportunity, take a quick nap at any point in your day.
